Q 1.   Can one student/ person send more than one entry?

A.   Yes one student/ person can send more than one entry. They can also send entries in more than one categories. That is for Environment Project, Environment Photograph, Environment Bal Sahiyta, Environment Slide Show and Logo Competition. Mention the categories under which entries are being submitted on the envelop and in the subject line of the email.
Ensure to give complete details of the person submitting the entry (name, age, class, school/college name and address, full postal address with PIN code, mobile/phone/fax number, and email ID, etc) for us to be able to validate the entry and reach you, if required.

Q 2.   Can students send entry in groups?

A.   Yes students can send the entries in a group if they have done the project in a group. They can also send the entries as an Eco-Club. In case of sending entries in a group or through an Eco-Club they can give name of all the members of the group or Club involved in the project. The group leader or Eco-Club In-Charge can give their contact details with the school/college contacts with the entry.

Q 3.   Can a group of students from a society can send the entry?

A.   Yes a group of students from a society or community can also send their entry.

Q 4.   What is an entry? Is there any form for sending the entry?

A.   The reports /write up giving description of action projects, photograph with title and description, slide show with the script and literature for children as Bal Sahitya on environment could be an entry for the Srushti Mitra Awards. There is no entry form for sending the entry. An entry can be sent by writing the descriptions asked under each categories in electronic format by computer or on A4 size plain paper. The format for details or descriptions needs to be sent as entry is given in the invitations for the Srushti Mitra Awards. 

Q 5.   Can professional photographer or members of photography club send their photos as entry?

A.   Yes, armature as well as professional photographer and photography club members can also send their photos for the Srushti Mitra Awards.

Q 6.   How to send photographs?

A.   Photographs can be submitted in hard copy/print in the size of 8 x 12 inches matt finish. It can also be submitted in soft copy of digital formal of JEPG Image of more than 7 mega pixel resolution quality or more than 600 DPI resolution quality. It can be submitted preferably by email or in a CD. With the photograph you should also give the title or caption of the photo, date and place where photo was taken, description of  Photo explaining the significance of it in not more than 100 words in English or Marathi.
Ensure to put complete contact details with the entry (name, age, class, school/college name and address, postal address with PIN code, phone/mobile no., email ID if any) for us to be able to validate the entry and reach you, if required.

Q 7.   How many photographs can be sent for the competition?

A.   A person can send as many photographs as s/he wishes to send. With each photograph you should send the details of the photograph (title, date and place photo was taken, description of photo, personal & contact details).

Q 8.   I am a teacher can I send my entry?

A.   Yes a teacher and all others can participate in the Srushti Mitra Awards in the categories which are open for all, namely Environment Photographs, Environment Slogan, Environment Bal Sahiyta.

Q 9.   I am a teacher, I have done good project work on environment can I send my entry?

A.   A teacher can send their action project as an entry of the project done by them with the students or with the Eco-Club. They can also send their entry as a write up about the action project describing it as a student project idea, success story, case study or learning under the Bal Sahiyta category.

Q 10.   Can I send my write up for Bal Sahiyta, I am an adult?

A.   Yes an adult writing for the children on environment can send their entry under Bal Sahitya category.

Q 11.   We are from Authors Club can we send our entries? Can a published author send their entry?

A.   Yes members of an author club or writers club can send their entries? A published author can also send their entries.

Q 12.   I have made a documentary film can I send my entry?

A.   At present in Srushti Mitra Awards there is no category for films.  

Q 13.   What is a deceleration letter which we have to send with the entry?

A.   It is expected that people submit original work done by them or write up written by them as the entry for the Award and not copied from somewhere or others work. In order to ensure and avoid the issue of copying from other sources, it is expected that the person submitting the entries should give this deceleration. This can be a self-deceleration on a plain paper undersigned by himself/herself stating that the work they are submitting as entry is their original work and not others work or not copied from other sources.

Q 14.   How do I submit the entries?

A.   Entries can be submitted in soft copy /electronic format or hard copy. It can be sent by email to the ID of Srushti Mitra Awards - srushtimitra@gmail.com. It can also be sent in a CD in electronic format.

Q 15.   I do not have access to Email and Internet how do I send the entries?

A.   Those who are in remote, rural areas and does not have access to internet and email can send their entries in hard copy by post or courier. Entry in hard copy should be submitted in a typed form or in a neatly written form on a plain paper.

Q 16.   Where to send the entries?

A.   Entries can be submitted by email to the Srushti Mitra email ID - srushtimitra@gmail.com. Or it can be submitted in hard copy on A4 size plain paper by post or courier on the address of CEE - "Srushti Mitra Awards, Centre for Environment Education, A 10 Garden Estate, Nagras Road, Aundh, Pune 411007."

All the entries sent must have the personal details (name, age, institution, full contact details) of the person submitting the entries.

Entries for different categories must be submitted in separate envelop or by separate email. Similarly, entries submitted by different persons must be sent in separate envelop or by separate email.

Name of the categories under which entry is being submitted mush me mentioned on the envelop and in the subject line of the email.

If a group is sending entries together by post, entry of different persons and entry for different categories must be in different envelops.
